Daniel Ryumugabe is the Founder of Flourish Rwanda. He is responsible for providing the overall executive leadership and management of the Flourish Rwanda vision and mission. He works with the Board to strengthen relationships with existing donors, as well as identify new financial partners to grow the Flourish Rwanda donor base.
Previously, Daniel served with the Chalmers Center for Economic Development where he worked as Director of Global Strategic Partnerships. At the Chalmers Center, Daniel designed and executed partnerships strategy, seeking out new distribution opportunities and serving as the primary liaison between Majority World partners and the Chalmers Center. In the same organization, Daniel also served as the Director of International Programs, leading operations, continuous improvement of biblically integrated economic development programs in West Africa and launching new strategic partnerships with Christian organizations across the Majority World.
Prior to joining the Chalmers Center, Daniel served as the Head of Transformation for Africa at Opportunity International. He implemented the processes to define, integrate and embed transformational development mindset throughout Opportunity International’s Africa microfinance institutions.
Daniel lives in Rwanda’s Capital, Kigali, with his wife Grace and three children. He loves reading books, watching soccer, preaching, and spending time with his family.
