Why did we start this organization?

Flourish Rwanda is a child-focused, Christian community development organization founded by local leaders in Rwanda. Our purpose is to invest in the lives of children and families in Rwanda so they become agents of transformation in their own country. Our holistic approach is grounded in the overarching biblical concept of shalom, where all people, families, and communities flourish.

Our grassroots approach follows a proven path experienced by our founder, Daniel Ryumugabe, who overcame poverty with the support of sponsors who invested in his education. He lives with a deep passion and commitment to Rwanda founded on his belief that the country is not only ripe for transformation but that it can serve as a model for holistic community development throughout Africa.
