Grace Muhongayire

Grace Muhongayire is currently working with Flourish Rwanda as the Programs Manager. Prior to committing to this role, she worked in the Microfinance sector for more than 12 years.

Grace worked as Credit Manager at Amasezerano Community Banking. At ACB, she worked as Credit Officer where she ensured clients were aware of the types of loans available, policies associated with loans and answering all the queries of customers pertaining to loan and bank products. She was responsible for analyzing the prospective clients for loans and helping them with loan application procedure and formalities. Her role included conducting field and onsite visits to the clients to verify the proper usage of loans granted. In the same institution, she held several positions for 12 years including the Acting Branch Manager position which she held until her resignation to focus on the establishment of Flourish Rwanda.

Grace and her husband Daniel Ryumugabe conceived the vision of Flourish Rwanda out of their desire to help vulnerable children and families.

Grace has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Kigali Institute of Management. Her joy is to serve at-risk kids and their families.
